Big Bad Wolf 2012

The biggest and largest book sale is taking place here in Malaysia, of all places!! Im super duper excited about this sale. Books are crazy cheap, at a discount rate of 75% - 95%! Its starting on the 7th Dec - 23rd Dec 2012. I have applied for a half-day AL just to go for the book sale. I've never been to one and i cant help but to wonder how crazy its gonna be. Will post pictures of the sale! Stay tuned!

So yeah, I went to the sale THRICE and bought books worth RM350! It was money worth spending. The 1st time I went, I went alone. I brought a pasar malam trolley along with me. It was a good move. The 2nd and I went, I took amma along.The 3rd time, I went with Haruan :)

Jean Perera Sinnappa

Yesterday, Monday, was a public holiday and a lazy day. I jus lazed in the house till evening. I've been promising Chubby Chubby that i'll visit her and her sick grandma, but never had the time. So i packed my stuff n drove to puchong. I had in mind to stay over at my bro's place in SK after visiting. Chubby stays in an apartment. I thought amama would be bed-ridden and unconscious most of the time. To my surprise, she was chatting happily and was full of facial expressions. I had a good time with amama.. she's mighty cute!! It saddens me to know that amama will not be around for long... 2 weeks the most :(
Me n chubby wanted to have some time alone to jus talk and share things.. so we took a walk to the pool. Me being a water maniac, could resist the temptation to have a dip. So we ran back to her unit, changed our clothes (i wore Chubby's clothes as i din pack enough...swimming was never in the plan..hehe) n got into the pool. We had a solid good 1hr of chat in the neck deep pool.

The topic of our conversation in the pool : Jean Sinnappa. I had no clue who this women is/was. Chubby then told me the history of this person. Jean Sinnappa was a beauty queen in the early 1980's in Malaysia. She was brutally murder one night and it was one of Malaysia's most sensational murder trial. It had lots of twists and turns in it. The story of this women and how she had died and to know that the person who murdered her is still alive, kept haunting my mind. So the 1st thing i did today was to google and find as much information as i could about Jean Sinnappa's murder. Tetra the briyani House

Last weekend, I  had to go to Klang to deliver a cake for a 21 year old nurse. Snoopy followed me. Left the house at 12noon and by the time we reached klang and got the cake assembled, we starving! As we drove out of Pandamaran Jaya (thats where the cake was delivered to), we passed a shop called Tetra the Briyani House. We decided to stop and have lunch. I was a lil skeptical on how the briyani would taste, but hunger overpowered and gave a nod to go for it. I must say, i enjoyed every bit of the briyani. It wasnt loaded with spices, but it was simple with authentic briyani taste. It tasted heavenly, especially when you are starving. I had the normal chicken briyani and was totally satisfied as i walked out of the shop. Pricing is considerably ok. Snoopy had prawn briyani. Our bill came up to RM30, inclusive of drinks. I saw alot off people eating there and it had a good mix of races coming there.

Chatime Crave

I've been wanting to have Chatime for sometime now. It has been on my mind constantly... just like my crave for mata kunching . There's a Chatime outlet here in Cyberjaya but its not operating yet :( Damn, they should not have put up the banner till they have decided the opening date!
Today, after many days of craving, I finally had my Chatime :D Since its a Friday, we headed to Bandar Puteri Puchong for lunch. There's a Chatime outlet there. This time around, instead of having my usual chocolate blend, I had the original Chatime flavor : Pearl Milk Tea. I must say that I enjoyed every sip of it :D Worth the trouble taken to drive all the way from Cyberjaya to Puchong :D

Dinner with Appa and Angel

Last nite me and appa (Angel tagged along.. as usual) went out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant and Salak old town. I found something funny on the menu. The specialty of this restaurant, instead of cooking the chicken with the ingredients, they befriend them :)

The Birth of Me

Today, 25th September 2012 ; 2:34pm, marks the birth of this blog, Me Myself and I. I intend to fill this blog with everything and anything that excites, amuses, saddens, inspires, angers, etc etc me. It may also be my plain simple day to day journey in life. Basically, its all about ME :)
